C-Walk (May)

Carless extravagance of Plenty walks makes us almost careless with happiness. Like clarifying walks from Viewbank along the river. Consciousness sorts out ideas. Or charmed Clifton Hill, scene of ivy doorways and foggy dogs. Murals C-walk along the brickwork. The contoured walk above Wye River caressed the senses. Now burnt paths are out-of-bounds. Compressed walk to the station on clouded May mornings rouses forthcoming argument of day. Head is companion to uncalm thoughts. Beach at Beaconsfield Parade never complains or explains. Containers walk the walk. Characterful wend through supermarket mazes reaches its use-by date. Home is where it’s all unpacked.
