Ted

It’s teddy bear said, name soft and nosy rosy.
Mister Edward eastward westward go tear be hair.
Ted the fragments of thread.
The bed by the hour to curl in, to dream up.
Healed so tight, all the talk in his fluffy ear
the throw over the room, off the cliff of chair
where who cares, while windows fill with light.
Rooms of dada sound clamour, a trip into green
but it’s all too much. Needs ted ted ted he did
he did everyone, said, fed, head bed O ted ted ted Ted.
Drop him like he’s dead, soon as said he’s fed red.
Resurrect ted, sleep turn to wake
for weeks. Selected. Inspected. Protected. Projected.
Neglected. Reconnected. Dissected. Elected.

TED (February)

TED Talk: “I’m here to talk about the stocking and, you know, there’s nothing to worry about. Three things: the stocking is light, comfortable, and breathes. Really, you can wear it through a February heatwave. No great fashion statement, true, and only one colour available. I got over it, you can too. Put your best foot forward. You may laugh, but I think of it as my Christmas stocking. [Mild laughter] Here’s the hard bit. Compression therapy helps decrease venous pressure, prevents venous stasis and impairments of venous walls, and relieves heavy and aching legs. That’s a lot of venous.”
