October rejects the transparent lies, endless
feuding, the utter incompetence. Why it took till October is a good question.
Rejects the cruel treatment, the unjust vindictiveness, the inhumane attitudes.
It’s not as though we cannot see this with our own eyes. Rejects the two-faced
morals, the patronising doubletalk, the contesting manipulation. By their
actions we have known them. Rejects the climate laziness, environmental
ignorance, the permanent denial. Time, which ticks over like October, is of the
essence. Rejects how money alone talks, how going through the motions isn’t good
enough, how power turns each one of us into the Other.
