Grass

... quivery green, hands-on shift of weekend’s grasses
Vietnamese mint multi-tracked pink through reused pots
Clover forested terracotta bright-white roots pulled airwards
Slimline emerald strands edged from leaf dirt
Seriously bunched bubbles for best water flow
Loosened of tiny grit sheen of grimes
Winter strawberry trails claw last sunlit patches
Densely crowded with jigsaw efforts sitting pretty
Lithe intruders from dried mud pop-up profuse
Lifelines curling the green bin Tuesday night
Separating coriander threads into hole-drop finger wells
Footpath clumps become airborne straggle dripping sand
Impossible angles inched from autumn’s windblown foothold
Milk flower, drifted pseudo-thistle, curious frilly something-or-other ...
