or flutters partially before topple-gliding a few feet in what amounts to gust.
Some divide, are torn, unpieced to fragments rain and footwear reduce to bits.
Brown from stem to edge, leaves collect against Middle Park house walls of venerable
brick and designer metals. They mountain, fritter, skeletalise, disperse. It’s
better than a movie. Mushier than a download. Nothing else to think about, early
one morning: just kick-piles of leaf in Richardson Street.
